This awesome&nbsp;weekend camping trip introduces them to Scout camping using the patrol method in a Scout-led outdoor adventure, while supervised by adult leaders, and with parents nearby.&nbsp;This weekend event gives the Webelos a little taste of the independence and self-reliance they learn in Scouts.&nbsp;<br \/><strong>4<\/strong><sup>th<\/sup><strong>&nbsp;grade Webelo Scouts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>will work as a Scout Patrol together.&nbsp;They will choose a Patrol leader and with the help of their den leader will do various tasks withing the unit.<\/li><li>will work on Outdoorsman, Duty to God in Action, Castaway, Fishing, Map and Compass, and lots of other adventures.<\/li><li>they will receive a list of activities they worked on to present to their Webelos den leader\/Cubmaster.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5<\/strong><sup>th<\/sup><strong>&nbsp;grade Arrow of Light Scouts\/-Scouts BSA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;grade Scouts that have already crossed over into troops are also eligible for Webelos Woods.<\/li><li>will work as a Scout Patrol together.&nbsp;They will choose a Patrol leader and with the help of their den leader\/ASM will do various tasks withing the unit.<\/li><li>&nbsp;will work on the Boy Scout Totin\u2019 Chip and Firem\u2019n Chit, Fishing and lots of other activities.<\/li><li>&nbsp;they will receive a list of activities they worked on to present to their Scoutmaster.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>This Baloo training is for leaders only:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"263\" src=\"http:\/\/denverncpack83.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/baloo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1063\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Welcome to the Spring 2020 BALOO Training!<\/strong><br \/>It is the Cub Scout Leader training&nbsp;<strong>required&nbsp;<\/strong>for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos overnighters.<br \/>BALOO training consists of a prerequisite online component (<strong>must bring certificate of completion).&nbsp;<\/strong>To take your online portion of BALOO go to<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/r20.rs6.net\/tn.jsp?f=001A0GrGTD0xenkPT6Msuu5LPscAxnCQC5Pk6RmtUrSJYqx_98YsNGIQozkt-vFm5GQ4M92dOMrTLVdW_OUczJn-mOhprFk91NvOnu_JVF1etVSCc7Dt4E6nrotsxQlkjLXgBC2QdqZCmq-vY6BW0ST2w==&amp;c=E-iL78LIMwphB8kCLdZlHHpb2SuNGQ3Y-R2FJDr2zBeBQiCTkjio6A==&amp;ch=txd7UIOpIrywJVr78noFh685TJc5sycTGGIudUe76uiIc6tatNMFwA==\">my.scouting.org<\/a><strong>,&nbsp;BSA Learn Center (the red box on the right side of the page), then click on Expanded Learning, then scroll down to BALOO &amp; click to get started.<\/strong><br \/>Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.&nbsp;This course also replaces&nbsp;<strong>O<\/strong>utdoor&nbsp;<strong>W<\/strong>ebelos&nbsp;<strong>L<\/strong>eader&nbsp;<strong>S<\/strong>kills (OWLS)<strong>. On Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Gaston College.<br \/><br \/>Cub Scout volunteers from across the Piedmont Council will be offering Cub Scout Adventures for Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos\/Arrow of Light. Take a look below at the awesome Cub Scout Adventures being offered at this one day event.
